Friday, October 31st from 5 pm to 8 pm – Come celebrate Hallowe’en & ‘ Trick or Treat’ at SMM. Workers to dole out treats are always needed. Some of our own parents are on the move with their kids. We are told that our offering is the best in the neighborhood and we frequently have 200 or more drop by.

SEPTEMBER STUDY GROUP

This September, the Adult Christian Formation ministry will be running a study group guided by Robert Alter's  The Art of Hebrew Poetry. We will look at the structure, themes and conventions of Hebrew poetry through excerpts from the poetic books of the Old Testament including the Psalms, Job, and Ecclesiastes.  Sessions will run weekly on Tuesdays at 6pm starting on Tuesday, September 2^nd in the lounge.
