A modified Corpus Christi

With no police escort showing up on June 19 and with competition from the annual street fair in Little Italy, we couldn’t process outside - and the large canopy bearers had to be candle bearers instead for an indoor procession. This didn’t stop the choristers from joining it. - and their return to the Gallery to sing Ave Verum Corpus added beauty and meaning to these most sacred moments of our living tradition.

Pentecost and Jubilee - a wonderful day!

It is wonderful to be back to live worship and a real celebration. Our first joint mass united the 9:30 and 11:00 congregations for the first time in 2022 at 10:00 am, followed by the blessing of our permanent reminder of the Platinum Jubilee - a commemorative bench. An outdoor reception followed and the climax of the afternoon was a recital of coronation music by our organist Robert Dixon. A memorable meeting of old and new friends.
